WHERE IN METRO MANILA: Share great food at 'banapple'

Banapple is a bakery cafe serving freshly-baked pies, cheesecakes and desserts, as well as good food and coffee. Banapple got its name from their two best sellers Banoffee Pie, and Apple Caramel Crumble.

One day, after our work, my friends Jenny from KPMG (R.G. Manabat & Co) and Bea from EY (SGV) decided to go out for dinner. We tried banapple in Ayala Triangle in Makati City. The place has smaller space as compared to the nearby restaurants.

Sorry for the not-so-clear photo. There are no lights outside the cafe [please consider this, banapple management :)].
Cakes and pies served by the banapple are Maple Pecan & Candied Bacon Cheesecake (P145/slice, P1,340/whole), Strawberry Amaretto Cheesecake (P135/slice, P1,240/whole), Two-Nut Caramel Cheesecake (P130/slice, P1,190/whole), Snicker Fudge Cheesecake (P135/slice, P1,240/whole), Cadbury Old Gold Oreo Cheesecake (P160/slice, P1,780/whole), Banoffee Pie (P115/slice, P840/whole), Apple Caramel Crumble Pie (P120/slice, P880/whole), Chocolate Chip Walnut Pie (P115/slice, P840/whole), Hallow Mallow S'Mores Pie (P130/slice, P960/whole).

You may also try banapple's savory pies served with chunky potato salad (P165).

Since Banapple is a bakery café, it also has a delicious selection of full meals. The pasta dishes Penne Bolognese (P200) and Baked Creamy Cheesy Penne (P215) which are as rich as the names sound. The menu also has salads and sandwiches, fluffy pancakes and entrees, which have the pan fried porkloin with herb mushroom gravy (P210) and salpicao Rafael (P225) as specialties.
