#WhereInPH: Seafood boodle feasts? Checkout Blackbeard’s Seafood Island

It's been a long day for us! When we went to TriNoMa, we met a Blackbeard’s Seafood Island staff kuya Jeff. He said that there will be a free serving of calamares for their customers. We promised to get back to the restaurant and have our dinner there after our lunch in Wee Nam Kee and 'Crazy Beautiful You' movie date with my friends ate Wengz, Krizzalyn and Star.

I always wanted to try Seafood Island's boodle fight, a military style of eating where food is placed on top of the banana leaves and everyone prepares for the “eating combat”. Blackbeard’s Seafood Island boodle feasts give you a one of a kind dining experience. Customers are encouraged to eat in bare hands.

You can choose from their wide array of Island-inspired Filipino dishes that will definitely leave you with a happy tummy.
A group of five to six persons can enjoy Vigan Boodle Feast (P1,395) which has pinapaitan, insarabasab, igado, pakbet de Vigan, poque-poque, bagnet, dinakdakan, grilled bangus, Vigan longganisa rice. Davao Gulf (P1,485) has chicken wings inasal, pork bbq, grilled baby squid, steamed shrimps, grilled tuna laman, grilled imbao, shrimp and pomelo salad, lato salad, kinilaw na langka sa gata, grilled talong, salted egg, grilled tomatoes, kalkag rice, bagoong rice and crispy dulong rice. Mt. Apo (P1,650) has imbao sa buco, steamed crabs, grilled liempo, inihaw na manok sa gata, grilled squid, steamed shrimps, fried tilapia, law-uy, knilaw na tanigue, balbakwa, ensalatang lato with crispy dilis and salted fish rice.

A group of three to four persons (P995) and a family of five to six may try Magellan's Landing which has danggit Chips with Pineapple Salsa, Kinilaw na Tanguigue, Grilled Tilapia, Grilled Squid and Shrimps, Steamed Crab, Chicken Inasal, Grilled Vegetables and Bagoong Rice.
