I miss eating pizza so before we get back to Ilocos, I asked my friends to have our night snack at Calda Pizza in P. Noval in Sampaloc, Manila.
Calda Pizza originated from Cebu and migrated to Manila to introduce 36-inch pizzas to the market. Calda is an Italian term which means 'hot'
We did not get that 36-inch pizza since we were only three. We can't finish that giant pie for 20 to 30 people!
Checkout Calda Pizza menu and choose from their 28 pizza variants and sizes from Regular 11-inches (P165 to P310), Family 16-inches (P285 to P510) to XL 20-inches (P410 to P820) and Super 30-inches (P830 to P1230). To enjoy Xtra Super 36" Pizza, add P300 to the price of their Super 30" Pizza.
Calda has its old-time favorite - Margherita (Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese), Hawaiian (Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, ham, pineapple) and Quattro Stagione (4 kinds: Bolognese, hawaiian, etna, and calda).
Torinese (Tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, pesto sauce, onions) and Roma (Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, ground beef, Italian sausage, salami, mushrooms, green bell pepper) are must-try pizzas.
Calda introduces new variants like 3S Sweet, Spicy, Salty and Salamanca.
We tried their best-seller Calda (Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, ground beef, ham, salami, onions, green bell pepper). It has also a new and special version (Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, grilled beef, ham, salami, bacon, pepperoni, mushroom, pineapple, green bell pepper, onions, tomatoes, red garlic, black olives).
Other variants listed in the menu are Capricciosa, Vegetariani, Piccante (Spicy), Succulenta, and Filipiniana.
They also offer pasta (P175 to P210) and fried chicken (P250 for 5 pieces).
