#WhereInPH: Pizza, Pasta and more at Don Henrico’s Baguio and Metro Manila

My first Don Henrico's visit was when I was in Baguio with our student publication adviser, ma'am Elea and one of our editors, ate Emz. I was the editor-in-chief then. We went to Baguio to finish our second issue for our 2012 edition.

Like Good Taste, Don Henrico’s in Baguio is an institution and one of the favorite dining places of tourists. It has two branches there.

The Italian restaurant chain is such a hit with Filipinos because sharing is easy. There are a large amount of servings of your order and there’s so much variety.

The family-style Italian eatery that began with a 75-seater branch on Session Road in Baguio back in 1993 now has different branches (two in Baguio, one in Malate, one in Cebu, one in Tomas Morato, one in Greenhills, one in West Avenue, one in Santa Lucia East Grand Mall, and one in Festival Mall, Alabang).

The restaurant also caters to even bigger groups, offering not just “Share” size (2 to 3 people) but “Family” size as well (good for 4 to 5 people).

The Strawberry Sans Rival is a must try.

In Mega Manila, Don Henrico's offers Summer Salad (P260 share, P480 family), a combination of three crisp lettuce with mango, grapes, kiwi, mandarin oranges and walnut and served with vinaigrette dressing.

X.O. Seafood Pasta (P310 share, P580 family) has fish fillet, shrimps, and squid in a seafood X.O. sauce.
For your dessert, you must try Toblerone Cheesecake (P175), Speculoos Cake (P175) and Chocolate Nirvana Cake (P150).

Favorite pasta dishes are Crab Fettuccini (P310 share, P580 family) and the spicy Pacific Rim Seafood Pasta (P310 share, P580 family).
If you are going to Baguio, make sure that you visit their main branch because there a lot of flavor ready to satisfy your cravings there.

Tutto de Mare (P250) has shrimps and squid cooked in flavored marinara sauce. Baked Ziti (P190) is mixed with sauteed beef chunks, Italian sausage, mushroom and cheese mixture. Seafood Pesto Linguine in Cream Sauce (P275) is a grand mixture of shrimp with peeled tail, squid rings and crabsticks simmer with pesto sauce and pesto cream sauce with melted butter and minced garlic.

Seafood Romano Pizza (P310 - 10 inches, P570 - 14 inches, P750 - 18 inches) is a great combination of marinated squid and shrimp spread in a red and green bell pepper with mozzarella cheese. Don Henrico's Supreme Pasta (P299 - 10 inches, P540 - 14 inches, P710 - 18 inches) is Don Henrico's own creation Pepperoni, beef, ham, mushroom, pineapple tidbits and black olives.

Vegetarian? Try Primavera Pizza (P290 - 10 inches, P520 - 14 inches, P680 - 18 inches).

Don Henrico's has Pizza Wrap (P155) Menu which includes Don Henrico's Pizza Wrap, Primavera Wrap, Pizza Con Carne Wrap and Italian Garlic Mushroom Wrap.

For its Calzone (P255) Menu, it offers Beef Calzone, Italian Sausage Calzone and Vegetable Calzone.

The Chicken Ala Buffalo is a traditional upstate New York style tender pieces of chicken marinated coated with tangy barbeque sauce. It has solo pack (P260 - 3 pieces), twin pack (P510 - 6 pieces) and family (P780 - 10 pieces).

They also serve Special Rice Meals (P130 to P305) and Burgers (P147 to P230).

For the dessert, you may try Choco-Caramel Fantasy (P148), Tiramisu (P148) and Hawaiian Fruit Salad (P95).
