WHERE IN METRO MANILA: Soya Bar, the bar of guiltless pleasure

Enjoy the pleasure of healthy treats at Soya Bar, a counter snack specializes on soya food products.

Soya Bar is one of the most visited food places because the prices are budget friendly and the menu gives you choices for a healthy lifestyle.

According to WebMD, "soy from foods is linked with lower risks of breast and endometrial cancer in studies. It  appears to help women under age 65 with cognitive function." It does not carry any significant risk.

"Soy relieved certain menopausal symptoms," WebMD added. "For menopausal symptoms, the recommended starting dose is 50 mg of total isoflavones a day, the researchers write. Getting soy from foods is encouraged, too. Soybeans, including edamame, are high in isoflavones. Soy flour, soy protein isolate, and miso soup also have high isoflavone content."
According to studies, foods containing soy protein may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. It also has an antioxidant effect because of the isoflavones content found in soy products.
