BY PAUL MICHAEL CAMANIA JARAMILLO

ABS-CBN unveiled new shows to watch out for this 2015.

Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo headline “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” remake

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will portray the roles first brought to life by Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales in ABS-CBN's modern retelling of "Pangako Sa 'Yo."

The top-rating teleserye was also popular for the rivalry of business tycoon Amor Powers and hacienda matriarch Claudia Buenavista, respectively portrayed by Eula Valdez and Jean Garcia.

This time, Jodi Sta. Maria will play Amor, Yna's mother out for revenge on the Buenavistas; while Angelica Panganiban will take on Claudia, the scheming and ambitious wife of Amor's former love, Eduardo.

Returning as director of "Pangako Sa 'Yo" in 2015 is Rory Quintos. It will be produced by Star Creatives, the team behind the primetime hits "Princess and I," "Got to Believe," "The Legal Wife" and the ongoing "Forevemore."

Considered as the pioneering "teleserye," the original has been aired in over 20 foreign territories since 2002, making it arguably the most successful Philippine TV series to air internationally.

Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta reunite in 'Will Never Say Goodbye'

Onscreen couple Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta, former real-life sweethearts now with their respective spouses, will reunite on television via "Will Never Say Goodbye."

'Nathaniel' promotes Christian values

After her highly-successful acting debut on an episode of "Maalala Mo Kaya," the grand champion of "The Voice Kids Philippines," Lyca Gairanod, is set to feature on a brand new primetime series.

Dubbed "Nathaniel," the new show will revolve around a child with supernatural ability to promote good, which will be played by ABS-CBN's new child actor.
