WHERE IN METRO MANILA: Be healthy, eat fresh at 'Pobi Korean Restaurant' and try Korea's no. 1 ice cream brand

After our Taxation review class, we decided to have dinner at Pobi Korean Restaurant. I just missed eating Korean dishes so I insisted to dine there. I also wanted to compare its place, price and taste to other Korean restaurants in the metro. The restaurant is located at the FEU Gymnasium in R. Papa St.

The place is spacious. It  can accommodate a one big class for an event.

The price? It's just like the usual Korean restaurant.

Unlike other Korean restaurants, their Bibimbap is not served in a sizzling bowl. They use stainless bowl and chopsticks.

Honestly, I did not like the taste of the other dishes. I hope "Chef Pobi" will improve their menu.

LIST: Affordable restaurants serving buffet for less than P500

The store also sells Korean ice cream. We chose Korea's no. 1 ice cream brand, Binggrae, best seller. Binggrae Samanco is not really an ice cream bar, but more of an ice cream sandwich. The "fish" is provided by wafer-like shell and inside is a thin layer of sweet red bean and ice cream. I never expected that I will love this "fish." I will look for this in groceries and buy more for my merienda.

Pobi also serves 'Everyday Sulit Meals' at P58 served with side dish, soup and iced tea.

For buffet lovers, Pobi offers 'Eat all u can' at P199 every Wednesday and Saturday from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
