Karla Estrada, Rico J. Puno's kids join The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 blind auditions

BY PAUL MICHAEL CAMANIA JARAMILLO

Actress-singer Karla Estrada, the mother of teen star Daniel Padilla, tried out for a spot in the newest season of the 'The Voice of the Philippines' for the "experience."
Estrada and 'The Voice' coach Lea Salonga were part of a now defunct youth-oriented variety show, which aired on a rival network.

Two contestants who happen to be the children of popular Filipino singer Rico J. Puno also failed to make the coaches turn their chairs during the blind auditions of the second season of 'The Voice of the Philippines'.

Dorica Carla Puno, 30, and her brother, Juan Rocho, 28, both tried their luck on "The Voice".

Doki went through the auditions first, singing a rendition of Estelle's "American Boy".

Doki's younger brother, Rox, came in next. He performed The Police's "Every Breath You Take".
