WHERE IN METRO MANILA: It's a world of Burger + Burrito at Army Navy

Their mission: Come in hungry. Walk out happy.

And that mission was accomplished when I tried their burger with natural beef patties topped with fresh, crispy lettuce, sliced tomato and onions - and the best is - it is toasted on sesame seed Kaiser Bun.

Army Navy Burger Burrito, which specializes in hamburgers and burritos with a military motif, is a sister restaurant of Yellow Cab Pizza.

Army Navy also serves freedom fries and onion rings at P75, a tortilla soup at P110, and fearless fried chicken at P175.

They offer the best burgers and burritos in town. The classic burger (P165) has a single quarter-pound beef patty. You may their Double Burger for only P210. The Bully Boy Burger (P255) has a triple quarter-pound beef patties.

What is a burrito? It's a flour tortilla filled with meat, Spanish rice, frijoles, onions, lettuce and cilantro. All their burritos - steak (P195), chicken (P165), pork (P185), vegetable burrito (P165) - are served with salsa and a slice of lime.

Get a Breakfast Burrito and a StarvingSailor sandwich for breakfast or break time.

Aside from burgers and burritos, they also offer tacos, from soft to cruchy, and quesadillas, either the folded or the open-faced one.

The best drink that you may try there is their LiberTea Iced Tea at P65 for regular and P75 for a large freshly brewed iced tea.

They have different branches not only in Metro Manila but also in the different parts of the Philippines. They have 24-hour stores: Monday to Sunday at Jupiter St. in Makati, Bonifacio Global City, Commerce Avenue in Alabang, UST Dapitan, Imus Bayan in Cavite. Monday to Friday at Dela Rosa St. and Valero St. in Makati, Emerald Avenue in Ortigas, Eastwood Citywalk in Quezon City, McKinley and UP Technohub.

You may follow their Facebook and Twitter pages for more details.
