The Philippines’ third richest man, Andrew Tan, accepted the ice bucket challenge and promised to donate to the ALS Foundation.

The Megaworld founder nominated AIM president Steven DeKrey, Accenture Philippines country managing director Lito Tayag and McDonald’s Philippines president and CEO Kenneth Yang.

Yang accepted the ice bucket challenge, with no less than the fast food chain’s iconic mascot dousing him with ice water.

Yang passed on the challenge to his forum mates at the Young Presidents’ Organization, Guillermo Aponte of Coca-Cola Philippines, and actor and McDonald’s Philippines endorser Xian Lim

Globe chief executive officer Ernest Cu joined the ice bucket challenge craze and held an umbrella as ice water was splashed on him.

Cu nominated several of Globe’s partners – Google Tokyo’s Naoto Yokoyama, Facebook and Instagram’s Kai Elmer Sotto and Alcatel Lucent CEO Michael Combes – for the ice bucket challenge.
