Aiza Seguerra and partner Liza Diño reveal that they plan to get married this year in the United States and have a child through artificial insemination.
In an interview with "The Buzz" aired on Sunday, August 10, the couple said they are planning to start the procedure next year in the U.S.
The couple decided to keep the sperm donor anonymous, while the egg cell will be coming from Seguerra, while Diño will carry the child in her womb.
Diño said when asked why they decided to keep the donor anonymous:
Initially we were thinking na siguro a friend of ours para siguro kilala namin. Kaso baka maging mas complicated siya in the process.
What is artificial insemination?
According to WebMD Medical Reference:
In this procedure, sperm are inserted directly into a woman's cervix, fallopian tubes, or uterus. This makes the trip shorter for the sperm and bypasses any possible obstructions. Ideally, it makes pregnancy possible.
