Samsung has launched the 7-inch Galaxy W smartphone, its biggest smartphone to date.

Announced on Monday, June 2, the Galaxy W is almost identical to Samsung’s 7-inch Galaxy Tab and shares the same form factor as the rest of Samsung’s smartphone lineup, a plastic device with curved edges, a capsule like home button and with the now-standard leather-textured back cover.

It sports a 7-inch TFT display with HD 1280 x 720 resolution, 1.2GHz quad-core chipset topped with 1.5GB worth of RAM, 16GB of on-board with up to 64GB microSD support. It will also packs with an 8-megapixel main shooter paired with 2-megapixel sensor which is good enough for selfie shots, LTE-A support and 3200mAh battery.

The Galaxy W will be priced at 499,400 KRW ($487) in Korea and will be available in black, white and red.
