Ilocos Norte's "Himala sa Buhangin" honors Nora Aunor with “Elsa” sculpture

A sculpture in the likeness of “Elsa,” the main character in the classic Filipino film “Himala,” was unveiled by the artist Gerry Leonardo, actress Nora Aunor who played Elsa, and Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos in the sand dunes of Paoay during the “Himala sa Buhangin!” music and arts festival which was held on May 10 as part of the La Milagrosa Provincial Fiesta.



An interactive sculpture park was also installed by Leeroy New and singer Bamboo headlined the free concert.
