Filipinos Daisy Valenzuela and Roel Villones both performed on Sunday (Monday in Manila) for the coveted place in 'The Voice of Ireland' live show.
However, it was only Valenzuela who made the cut.
Valenzuela fought it hard with another contestant, Kelly Hannon, both under Team Jamelia, during the Battle Round in front of a live audience.
They sang "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera.
Meanwhile, Villones was up against Brendan McCahey, both of Team Bressie, during the Battle Round. The duo sang their rendition to the classic Hall & Oates song "Everytime You Go Away".
The 41-year old took to Facebook to thank those who followed his journey on the show.
Villones also applauded his battle partner, McCahey, for the win.
Even though his dream in The Voice Ireland ended, he still appealed to those who supported him to still help fellow Filipino, Valenzuela, in the show.
Valenzuela, he said, will be in the first live show on March 16.
