Former Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia teams up with award-winning director King Palisoc and stage actor and director Yan Yuzon to bring to the big screen a three-part crime anthology that tackles the culture of violence in society.
Bang Bang Alley follows the story of three characters: A journalist who survives a political massacre, a driver whose life spirals out of control after getting involved in a road accident, and a drug-addled rich kid who escapes to Benguet after committing a crime.
Buendia has nothing but praise for Miss World 2013 Megan Young, who will star in his upcoming film anthology.
Buendia, who counts acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino among his inspirations, also expressed his excitement over the prospect of directing another film, saying that he already has a concept in mind.
Bang Bang Alley also stars Joel Torre, Bela Padilla, Gabe Mercado and Jimmy Santos. The three-part anthology is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on April 9.
