Was Kat Alano raped by Vhong Navarro? DJ clarifies Facebook and Twitter posts

DJ-actress Kat Alano took to social networking site Twitter to share her thoughts about rape.

Alano’s tweets came after news about Vhong Navarro’s case came out, wherein the actor was accused of attempted rape by a 22-year-old student, later identified as Denience Milinette Cornejo. The actor denied Cornejo’s claim, saying the mauling and attempted rape claim are part of an extortion plot.

This prompted netizens to believe the actress’ posts are related to Navarro’s mauling case.

“Justice from the universe. Thank you. After 9 years. Karma people. Don’t ever underestimate it. Just be patient. The truth always comes out.

“Go out and get raped. Have someone shed you of your dignity, your pride, make you scared and feel vulnerable because you couldn’t protect yourself. Have someone take your right to feel safe in society and violate you as a human being. Then go out and tell your mom, your dad, the police, the doctors and everyone, that you were raped. Sound easy? Shame on everyone who has chosen to say ‘innocent until proven guilty’ for the accused but ‘kill yourself’ for the accuser. Are you proud of yourselves?”

Kat then took to Twitter and continued her posts about rape.

In the “Good Times with Mo” podcast where hosts Showbiz Bro, Sam Oh, Mikey Bustos and the equally controversial Mohan Gumatay a.k.a. Mo Twister talked about Alano’s social media posts, Gumatay pointed out that “Kat is a very pro-woman’s rights kind of girl. And stories like this really affect her too much”

Gumatay also vowed to ask Alano about these posts this coming Thursday. Alano co-hosts Gumatay’s podcast every Thursdays and may possibly reveal more about what people believe is her own “ordeal” with Navarro.

Alano clarified her Facebook and Twitter posts.

As for the “after nine years” she mentioned in her initial Facebook post, a check with her Internet Movie Database (IMDB) entry revealed that she was a co-host of Willie Revillame’s noontime show “Wowowee” from 2005 to 2006 on ABS-CBN, Navarro’s home network.
