Xian Lim says sorry for poking fun at Kim Chiu's 'kalokalike'

Actor Xian Lim apologized for poking fun at the "kalokalike" of his leading lady, Kim Chiu, while performing at the Chinese New Year countdown of "Banana Nite" on Thursday, January 30.

"I deeply apologize if I caused negative feelings while singing onstage during the Chinese New Years Eve countdown...It was not my intention, and I take full responsibility for my actions. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE! :-)."

After performing a song number for Chinese-Filipino fans, Lim told Chiu's lookalike, Charmae Viking:

"Sino ito? Ano ang ginagawa ni Bea Binene dito?"

Lim was about to leave when Jayson Gainza went up the stage to have a little chat with him and the Kim Chiu kalokalike.

Gainza asked Xian to describe his preparations for the Chinese New Year and he responded:

"Paano maghahanda nandito pa tayo? Hindi ko pa alam pagkauwi ko mamaya. Malamang may handaan dun."

Gainza also asked Viking the same question but Xian interrupted:

"Tanungin natin kung anong teleserye niya sa GMA. Si Bea Binene."
