Ilocos Norte establishes first Bonsai School in the Philippines

 
 
The first Bonsai School which was inaugurated on January 6 was established by the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte.

Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos, together with Prof. Amy Liang, President of the Asia-Pacific Bonsai Friendship Federation, Dr. Miriam Pascua, President of MMSU, and the members of the Philippine Bonsai Society, led the ribbon cutting signifying the opening of the Bonsai School in Batac City.
