Enchong Dee, Erich Gonzales reunite in movie adaptation of 'Once A Princess'

Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee returns to the big screen with the movie Once A Princess under Star Cinema. The project is a film adaptation of the the bestselling Precious Hearts Romances title of all time.

After the success of Bakit Hindi Ka Cruzh ng Crush Mo at the box office, Star Cinema once again ventures in a story from a famous book, this time by Angel Bautista.

The movie will be Dee and Gonzales' reunion movie after their love team hit the big screen for the first time in 2010's I Do. They, however, have teamed up in several teleseryes like Magkaribal, Maria Mercedes and Katorse, which launched their love team.

The first trailer for Once A Princess has been released.

The movie adaptation centers on a popular girl in school, Erin (Gonzales), who toys with the feelings of an awkward would-be scientist, Leonard (Dee).

Unexpectedly, Erin falls in love with Leonard. While the romance is cut short due to a tragic event, the two meet again seven years later.

This time, however, Erin is already married.

Directed by Laurice Guillen, "Once A Princess" also stars JC de Vera and Matt Evans. It will be released in theaters nationwide on August 6.
