Iglesia Ni Cristo launches website for worldwide aid campaign

The Iglesia Ni Cristo’s (Church of Christ) outreach project “Kabayan Ko, Kapatid Ko” was launched on Monday at the Manila Ballroom of the Manila Hotel on Bonifacio Drive, One Rizal Park.

The website www.kabayankokapatidko.org was unveiled to “formally introduce to the world the outreach project’s mission, vision and activities.”

Bro. Bienvenido Santiago opened the ceremony by introducing the "Kabayan Ko, Kapatid Ko" project. He mentioned that the project is a worldwide campaign involving all members of the Iglesia ni Cristo as led by the Executive Minister Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo to extend aid not only to our countrymen here in the Philippines but also on other parts of the world.

INC ministers who were headed by Bro. Jose Ventilacion, were given the task to develop and oversee the setting up of the online page.

Bro. Joel San Pedro tours the guests and members of the press across the website www.kabayankokapatidko.org and discussed the features, contents and what other things they can see when they browse the site. He also pointed out that there is a section introducing the Church of Christ, its doctrines, origin, mission and worship service schedules.

The “Kabayan Ko, Kapatid Ko” project was launched in April 2013 to “carry out INC’s two-fold mission of edifying its flock and evangelizing the world.”

Guinness World Records: Iglesia Ni Cristo International Humanitarian Aid

This mission primarily aims to extend outreach services like relief and health-care missions where INC members can express love and compassion to their countrymen in need. The group believes that “true love, after all, is best shown in action.”
