First Miss Grand International crowned

Janelee Chaparro of Puerto Rico is Miss Grand International 2013 winner.
 
Chaparro bested 69 other contestants during the Miss Grand International 2013 grand coronation night in Bangkok, Thailand on November 19, 2013.

The queen took home the $30,000 cash award and an apartment in Bangkok during her year of reign. She will also participate in various events related to the ‘Stop the War’ campaign at an international level.
 
The 1st runner-up was awarded to Chantel Martínez of Dominican Republic, while the second runner-up was Denisa Paseciakova of Slovak Republic. Other winners include: Annalie Forbes (3rd) of the Philippines and Kelly Louise Maguire (4th) of Australia.
 
 
Forbes who hails from Malolos, Bulacan is Binibining Pilipinas 2012's First Runner-up. Her right to represent the country in the first ever Miss Grand International is by appointment. Annalie's final question was about how to prevent war and global conflicts. "I will use my position to promote the advocacy of Miss Grand International using various instruments such as social media, the gadget itself, and if necessary, our personal presence to spread the wonderful message of peace. I would like to thank all the donator(s) of our country from the last typhoon Yolanda."

All the winners of the special awards take home US$3,000 each or almost PHP129,000 in cash prizes.
