Coco Martin says film version of 'Juan dela Cruz' in the works

Coco Martin is looking to make a comeback on the big screen after the hit series "Juan dela Cruz," which will air its final episode this October.

The 31-year-old actor said that if given a chance, he would like to do a horror film with actress-host Kris Aquino, who is dubbed the "Queen of Horror" after starring in hits like "Feng Shui" and "Segunda Mano."

Martin said he is also looking forward to reprising the Juan dela Cruz character, as he bared plans of a film adaptation of the primetime series.

Baka next year po."

Airing weeknights after "TV Patrol," "Juan dela Cruz" sees Martin as the everyman-superhero who is torn between being the prophesied "Tagabantay" and being the "Anak ng Dilim."

The primetime hit is now down to its last three weeks with its final episode scheduled to air on October 25.
