British supermodel David Gandy is new face of SM Men’s Fashion

David Gandy of Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue fame is now in Manila. He arrived on Monday, October 21, via Delta Air flight DL731.
 
The British supermodel who is the new image model of SM Men’s Fashion, will walk the runway at the Philippine Fashion Week spring-summer 2014 Thursday, October 24.

The week-long fashion fest began on Wednesday, October 23 and will run until Sunday, October 27 at the SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.
 
Gandy, who is best known as the face of Dolce & Gabanna’s Light Blue and the brand ambassador of Jaguar was voted the World’s Third Most Successful Male Model by Forbes magazine in 2009. Considered the highest paid male model in the world, he was named the Sexiest Man of 2013 by Cosmopolitan magazine.
 
 
According to models.com, Gandy won his first modeling contest in 2001, with 2005 as his “breakout year.”
 
He has graced 47 different magazine covers including GQ and Vogue, has been named the Most Beautiful International Male Model by Spanish Glamour in 2008, the Face of Today by Shortlist magazine in 2011, and the Face of Now by Iconographic 2007.
 
 
As the new image model of SM Men’s Fashion, he joins the brand’s other endorsers like Hideo Muraoka, Daniel Matsunaga, Fabio Ide, and Rafael Do Prado.
