Janet Napoles and the social media

Netizens speak out.

When news first broke that a Makati court ordered the arrest of Janet Lim-Napoles and her brother Reynaldo "Jojo" Lim, reactions spiked.

The Napoleses are being accused of "serious illegal detention" of whistleblower Benhur Luy.

A lot of tweets surfaced when DOJ released the list of 30 vehicles that belong to Napoles.

In an exclusive article written by South China Morning Post Manila correspondent Raissa Robles, Napoles’ JLN Corporation’s documents, submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), indicate it paid the following taxes:

in 2009 – P9,036.78
in 2010 – P25,164.69
in 2011 – P14,189.21

lesser than a public school teacher earning P21,500 a month which pays P35,952 in yearly income tax.

Will Napoles share a cell with a former maid, whom she had put behind bars after allegedly setting her up for qualified theft?
