Pinoy Dream Academy's Chivas Malunda joins 'The Voice of the Philippines' blind audition

Visayan artist Chivas Malunda joined 'The Voice of the Philippines' blind auditions. He was one of the scholars of ABS-CBN's second season of Pinoy Dream Academy. The format is similar to Big Brother, where a set number of finalists (billed as "scholars" throughout the series) would live inside the Academy for four months and will be trained by guest teachers to be multimedia performers.

Chivas was expelled from the Academy. He was sent to hospital two days before the gala night after suffering the effects of hyperventilation.

'Pinoy Factor' themesong 'Tagumpay' was sung Chivas.
