"It's More Fun in the Philippines" ad wins award in Japan

 
The Philippines' tourism campaign recently won the Reader's Choice award in the "Fun" category of the Yomiuri Advertising Award in Japan. 
 
 The Department of Tourism had placed the "It's More Fun in the Philippines" ads in Yomiuri newspaper.

The Yomiuri Advertising Award was started in 1984, with the goal of getting readers to participate in selecting the winners. The awards are for advertisements created by readers and selected by readers.

Japan is the third biggest source of tourists to the Philippines, contributing 179,984 visitors or 8.95% of the total 2.011 million from January to May this year.
