Joshua Dionisio to return to ABS-CBN?



After 5 years with GMA-7, Joshua Dionisio is reportedly returning to the network where he started – ABS-CBN.

He was discovered via modeling by ABS-CBN and VIVA Films. He made his first TV appearance as the young Nicolai "Nicos" Argos in Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay.

In his interview with PEP, Dionisio says he wants to quit showbiz because he looks forward to focusing on his studies this year.

BUT according to some entertainment sites, Dionisio returns to ABS-CBN to do the remake of primetime television drama "Esperanza." He will be paired with Jaine Oineza.

The teen actor made his first appearance this year on ABS-CBN where he played the character of young Orwell in Apoy sa Dagat's episode last Wednesday.

His break in acting was the ABS-CBN's kids action series Super Inggo, in which he played Kennedy "Ken" Pamintuan. He then played the love interest of the title character in Maria Flordeluna and was one of the lead characters in Kung Fu Kids.

In 2009, he moved to GMA 7 via the drama series, Stairway To Heaven, a Korean drama adapted for Philippine television playing the role of young Cholo.

He also appeared in GMA Network's primetime TV series First Time in 2010 in the role of Lukas Ynfante. He appeared in Pilyang Kerubin and playe the role of Michael on the GMA TV series and as Josh in Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts where he is with Barbie Forteza.
