CONTROVERSIAL: Shirtless Guy in Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing Commercial

A new campaign for Kraft Zesty Italian dressing from the Playa del Rey, Calif., office of Being features a shirtless male chef whose catchphrase is "Let's get zesty."

Kraft's steamy salad dressing ads have One Million Moms all riled up.

The group denounced the company's "Let's Get Zesty" campaign, which includes a print advertisement featuring an apparently nude male model with nothing but a picnic blanket draped over his private parts.

That's not likely to happen. According to Kraft's rep, the response from consumers has been largely positive. There's evidence on Twitter to back up that claim. “I wouldn't mind getting zesty with that man in the Kraft Italian dressing commercial,” tweeted one fan.  “Pretty sure I just fell in love with the man in the Kraft zesty Italian dressing commercial so ya there's that,” wrote another Kraft has produced four different television spots that have run since April starring the same male model. In one ad, he stirs salad dressing against the backdrop of a rustic-looking countryside.

The group, whose goal is to "stop the exploitation of our children," urged supporters to email Kraft to express their displeasure and urge the company to immediately discontinue the campaign.

"It is unnecessary for Kraft to use s*x to sell salad dressing!" the organization's statement said, adding that the asterisk was included "to ensure our emails get through to those who have signed up to receive our alerts. Otherwise, referencing specific words would cause our emails to be blocked by some Internet filters."
