Annabelle Rama reconciles with Nadia Montenegro

The warring camps finally reconciled on Wednesday during a closed-door judicial dispute resolution at the residence of San Juan Judge Marianito Santos.

The two women were emotional as they said sorry to each other after a year of personal attacks and legal disputes, which made headlines until Rama's congressional bid in Cebu in May.

In her Tweets posted around Wednesday noon, Rama recounted her arrival from Cebu with a positive outlook to attend a court hearing in Manila, regarding the libel cases against Montenegro.

"I didn't expect anything kung anong mangyayari sa aming pagkikita ni Nadia. Pareho kaming good mood at niyakap nya ako at sumunod naman si Ynna and Alyanna. Siyempre lumambot ang puso ko ganun lang kabilis. Nag-lunch kami at napag-usapan namin ang tungkol sa case, parang walang nangyari at back to normal ang kwentuhan. Nag-sorry siya nag-sorry din ako at doon natapos ang almost 1 year naming mala-telenobelang tampuhan."

While not mentioning Rama directly, Montengro posted a similar message on her Twitter account on Wednesday: "Forgiveness frees me fr all my burdens and battles! 1 lesson i will never forget! God is good! Trust n believe in God's perfect timing!"

The meeting ended their two-year indifference or soap opera-like verbal skirmishes.

The feud stems from Montenegro's allegations of child abuse against Rama, dating back to late 2011, in relation to the talent manager's way of handling her children's showbiz careers.

The charges of child abuse against Rama have since been dismissed.
