Aia de Leon of 'Imago' fails in 'The Voice of the Philippines' Blind Audition

Lea Salonga and Bamboo Manalac were heartbroken when none of the coaches of “The Voice of the Philippines” turned their chairs for former Imago vocalist Aia de Leon on Sunday’s episode of the hit talent search.

De Leon has left the rock group Imago before joining 'The Voice of the Philippines' Blind Audition.

Saying leaving Imago was one of the hardest decisions she had to make, the 35-year-old de Leon explained: “May nga bagay talaga na kailangan mong gawin para mas lalo kang maging mabuti sa iyong ginagawa.”

De Leon’s audition song was Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel,” which failed to compel the coaches to turn their seats.

Imago is known for hits "Akap," "Taralets," "Anino” and "Sundo."

The band last released a record in 2010 entitled "Effect Desired None."
