Jericho Rosales wins Newport Beach Film Festival Best Actor Award





Jericho Rosales bagged the Best Actor/Outstanding Acting Achievement award at the Newport Beach Film Festival held from April 25 to May 2 (April 26 to May 3 in Manila) for "Alagwa" ("Breakaway").

 
According to Examiner.com, this is Rosales' second time to win a Best Actor award at the Newport Beach Film Festival. He bagged the prize in 2011 for his lead role in the drama romance film "Subject: I Love You."

Rosales tweeted on May 1 that he plans to bring "Alagwa" to Manila theaters soon.
