Robi Domingo, a former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate, told ABS-CBN News on Friday that he will be the social media correspondent of "The Voice of the Philippines," which is currently holding auditions in time for its telecast in the second quarter of the year.

In the original American format of the show, the social media correspondent updates viewers on real-time Twitter reactions about the performances of the contestants and even the celebrity coaches during the program's live telecast.

The social media correspondent of "The Voice" in the United States during its third season, Christina Milian, also hosts the web-exclusive features of the show, including interviews with the contestants and behind-the-scenes access.

Already confirmed to be part of "The Voice of the Philippines" are Toni Gonzaga, who will be the telecast's host; and Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo MaƱalac as coach-judges.

"And there's another special someone, may isa pa," Domingo said.

In March, ABS-CBN’s TV Production Entertainment Head Laurenti Dyogi said Filipino rapper Allan Pineda or apl.de.ap is in negotiations to join the local edition of "The Voice" as the fourth coach.

Referring to the year 2013 as a "blessing," Domingo also revealed to ABS-CBN News that he is set to co-host the upcoming second season of the reality TV show "The Biggest Loser," along with Matteo Guidicelli and Iza Calzado.

Since his stint in "PBB" in 2008, Domingo's current line-up of projects is arguably his most high-profile yet. Acknowledging that a thriving career in showbiz may not last long, he said he still has plans to pursue becoming a doctor.

"I finished school, pre-med. Pag natapos na 'yung career ko -- kasi every artist, every actor, every host has that peak lang eh, after that magsu-subside na -- if I reach that moment, that saturation point, I'll go back to school and continue my dream of becoming like my dad. It's never too late to go back to school," he said.
