Hope for the Longest Bridge

The Aluling Bridge in Cervantes, Ilocos Sur is considered as the longest bridge in the Philippines not because of its length but because of its duration of construction. Started as early as the Marcos regime, the bridge until now is still unfinished. 

If finished, it will connect Ilocos Sur to the rest of the Cordilleras via Mountain Province. Cervantes for the matter, will become the new gateway to the Cordilleras from the west especially to the popular tourist destinations like Sagada and the rice terraces of Ifugao.
