Talent manager Annabelle Rama is embroiled in another controversy after she went ballistic and tried to hit an  entertainment reporter, Chito Alcid,  at the wake of comedy king Dolphy in Taguig City on Friday.

The exclusive video was shown on ABS-CBN’s late night news program “Bandila” on Friday, July 13, 2012.

In her Twitter account, Rama addressed her apology to Dolphy's longtime partner, singer/actress Zsa Zsa Padilla and the comedian's family.

“To Zsa Zsa and the Quizon family, I am so sorry for what had happened at the dining area of the Heritage," Rama said.

Rama added that the incident erupted after she was "provoked" by entertainment reporter Chito Alcid.

"I was provoked by a fake reporter," she said.

During the wake on Friday night, Rama tried to hit Alcid with a stick.

German Moreno and former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson were among those who tried to pacify her.

"Biglang nagkagulo, naghabulan. Inawat ko na lang baka magkasakitan," Singson said in an interview with dzMM on Saturday morning.

Singson said they were having dinner at another function room at the Heritage Park when the commotion happened. Some former stars of Sampaguita Pictures, including Rama's husband, Eddie Gutierrez, were there.

"Ang narinig ko lang na sigawan parang pinagsasabihan ni Annabelle na sinisiraan niya si Ruffa, nagagalit si Annabelle. Nagsisigawan," he said.

He said Rama was able to get hold of a walking stick and tried to hit Alcid with it.

"May nahagilap na baston. Pinakiusapan ko na lang sina Eddie na umuwi na lang dahil nakakahiya burol yun. Nakinig naman so umalis na," Singson said.

Prior to her apology, Rama, known for her sharp tongue, ranted about the incident in her Twitter account.

She narrated her side of the story in her Twitter account:

Chito Alcid: Grabe ka Annabelle yung kabastusan mo!
